How precious my life means to me
which God saw fit to give
making this world a better place
because this soul had lived

on earth where grace is tied to love
sweet innocence so pure
has left a mark upon my heart
as long as I endure

when a person is this precious
so valuable and rare
God’s eyes see multiplied value
He created with care

only through the eyes of the Lord
can He perceive His grace
where every soul does have a choice
to take his rightful place

among the righteous saints of God
the blood which covers shame
cleanses the vilest of sinners
who calls on Jesus’ name

for when God gives life on the earth
each soul He woos to Him
seeking the return of His love
wanting to bring them in

you are that valuable to God
the blood of royalty flowed
great love he shown for precious man
such grace our Lord bestowed
